Phonics Sounds and Supports

Hi All,

Thank you to everyone that has sent in a picture of their child's work!  I love seeing all of their stories.  Here is a pic of a phonics card that supports the Jolly Phonics letters that we have been learning this year. Please have this card (image) available when students are sounding out words.  I will share the digraphs in another post when we get to those.  This sounds help to support them when they are wanting to label their work!  

For those of you who have picked up your child's work, you can also use the jolly phonics pages that have the card picture inside the plastic sleeve.  These can help your child as well as they are familiar to them.

The songs can be found online as well.  This image may help prompt your child with the action and the sound.   It is also something great to practice each day too!  Sounds we haven't covered through the stories and songs are (B,J,Z,W,V,Y,X and digraphs).
